In Q2 2023, the top 5 consumer finance apps in Oceania demonstrated varying performance trends across downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at these apps, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

CommBank saw a strong presence in the market. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at approximately 28.6K by the end of June. Active users remained robust, starting at around 3.75M in late March and gradually increasing to about 3.81M by the end of the quarter.

For ANZ Plus, downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching a high of 24.9K in the last week of June. The app's active users also grew steadily from about 117K in late March to nearly 169K by the quarter's end.

The Ubank Money App exhibited a downward trend in downloads, starting at 22.2K in late March and dropping to about 10.8K by the end of June. Active users, however, remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 140K mark throughout the quarter.

Westpac maintained consistent download numbers, starting at 16.1K and ending at 17.3K. Active users showed a slight increase, beginning at approximately 1.09M and ending the quarter at around 1.07M.

Finally, ANZ Australia experienced a moderate download rate, peaking at 14.1K in the final week of June. Active users fluctuated slightly, beginning at around 1.12M and ending the quarter at about 1.08M.
